Temple of 1000 statues

This Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Temple is special since it has a lot of lined-up statues. Despite the name “Statue of a Thousand,” there are only about 500 statues there, each representing a distinct character rather than a thousand.

The monument itself is composed of young Chinese granite that was imported.
